“Any great CEO knows that to build a truly successful business they must build a high-
performing team of executives around them. This year’s EMA winners are perfect examples of
all-star executives. Not only do they inspire their own teams to achieve greater heights, they also
believe deeply in their companies’ missions, are consummate community stewards, and are
dedicated to excellence, always,” says Jaime Nespor-Zawmon, President of SmartCEO Events.
“We’re honored to share their stories as we celebrate their great accomplishments.”
The Executive Management Awards program recognizes the leadership and accomplishments of
Philadelphia’s management all-stars — the CFOs, CIOs/CTOs, COOs, CHROs, and other C-
suite executives leading the region’s business community. Winners are recognized for their
creative management vision, leadership philosophy, innovative strategy and undeniable work
ethic. More than 300 local C-level guests will celebrate this elite group of executives at a
cocktail reception in March. The event will kick off with a cocktail hour and networking
followed by a video-packed awards ceremony.
About the Executive Management Awards
The Executive Management Awards honor C-suite executives who have gone above and beyond
to support and lead their organizations. SmartCEO recognizes executives — CFOs, CIOs/CTOs,
COOs, CHROs, and other C-suite executives — who uphold the highest ethics, lead
collaboratively and creatively, and enhance and support the organization’s mission. An
independent committee of local business leaders reviews the Executive Management Awards
nominations and chooses winners based on their display of ethics, leadership, collaboration,
creativity, and dedication and support to their organizations’ missions. Executive Management
Award winners are profiled in the March/April issue of SmartCEO magazine and celebrated at
an awards reception in March.
SmartCEO’s mission is to educate and inspire the business community through its award-
winning magazine, connections at C-level events and access to valuable online resources.
